PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: October 23, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Tiny Star collects, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. Because our movies are made from a photo of your child, we have written a separate section on children's photos and information. Please read it.

Tiny Star is a brand operated by Vibora Group LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #9874, Albuquerque, NM 87113, United States. In this policy "we", "us" and "Tiny Star" mean Vibora Group LLC.

1. WHAT WE COLLECT

About you, the parent or guardian. Your email address, which you give us to receive your free preview; your name and billing details when you order; the content of any email you send us. Payment card details go directly to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

About your child, given by you. To create a movie, you give us your child's first name, age range, whether they are a boy or a girl, one or more photos, the adventure you choose, and optional details such as a sidekick, a pet, a favorite color, their interests, the occasion and a personal message. We call this "your child's information".

Collected automatically when you visit the site. Device and browser type, operating system, language, IP address and the approximate region it indicates, the pages you view and what you click, the site or ad that sent you to us, and cookie and pixel identifiers, described in section 6.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, precise GPS location, or your child's surname, address or school.

2. YOUR CHILD'S PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

  • Only a parent or legal guardian may upload a photo. By uploading one, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have their permission, and that you have the right to use the photo.
  • We use your child's photo for one thing only: to create your preview and your movie. We do not use it, or the movie made from it, in our advertising, on our site or on social media unless you give us separate written permission.
  • We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
  • We delete the photo once your movie is delivered. If you request a free remake, we may ask you to upload a photo again. If you create a preview but do not place an order, we delete the photo and the preview within 30 days.
  • We do not create a facial recognition template or any biometric identifier from the photo, and we do not use it to identify your child.
  • Who can see it. Photos are processed automatically. A small number of authorized team members, bound by confidentiality, may view a photo, a preview or a movie only to check its quality, to handle a remake or a support request you made, or to check that an upload respects our Terms of Service. Nobody else at Tiny Star has access to it.
  • Your movie is private. It is sent only to the email address you gave us, through a private link. We never publish it.
  • Unlawful content. If an upload appears to show the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child, we do not process it, we keep it only as the law requires, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the competent authorities.
  • Your child's first name and story details are kept with your order so that we can deliver your movie, remake it if needed, and answer your questions.
  • You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete your child's information. Email us and we act on it within 7 days.

Our site is meant for parents, guardians and other adults buying a gift. It is not directed at children, and children should not use it themselves. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent, email us and we will delete it.

3. WHY WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

  • To create your free preview and your movie, and deliver it by email.
  • To take payment, prevent fraud and handle refunds and remakes.
  • To answer your emails.
  • To send you emails about your preview or an order you started, and marketing emails as described in section 7.
  • To measure and improve the site, and to show and measure our advertising.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We do not sell your personal information or your child's information. We share it only with service providers working for us, under instructions that limit their use to the service they provide:

  • Shopify Inc., which hosts our store and processes orders, and Shopify Payments and its processors, which handle payment and fraud screening.
  • The cloud and artificial intelligence providers that generate the images, video, voice and music of your movie. They receive your child's photo and story details only to create it.
  • Our email provider, which sends your preview, your movie and our emails.
  • Meta Platforms and Google, which receive advertising and analytics identifiers as described in section 6. They never receive your child's photo or information.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

5. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

  • Your child's photo: until your movie is delivered, or 30 days after your preview if you do not order.
  • Your finished movie: 12 months on our servers, so you can download it again. Download it to keep it for good.
  • Order and transaction records, including your child's first name and story choices: 7 years, for tax and accounting.
  • Support emails: 3 years. Marketing subscriber data: until you unsubscribe. Analytics and advertising identifiers: up to 24 months.

After that we delete the information or make it anonymous.

6. COOKIES, PIXELS AND ADVERTISING

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes. Strictly necessary: remembering your progress in the movie builder, keeping your cart and securing checkout. Analytics: understanding how people use the site. Advertising: the Meta pixel and Google tags let us measure which ads led to a purchase and show relevant ads to people who visited the site. Some US state laws treat this as "sharing" or "targeted advertising", even though no money changes hands.

You can opt out at any time with the "Your privacy choices" link in the footer, through your cookie preferences, or in your browser settings. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. Where the law requires your consent, in particular in the European Union and the United Kingdom, we only set analytics and advertising cookies after you accept them.

7. EMAILS

When you give us your email address to see your preview, we send you your preview and, if you do not finish your order, a few reminders about it. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we only send you marketing emails if you agreed to receive them. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Unsubscribing does not stop emails about an order or the delivery of your movie.

8. YOUR RIGHTS IF YOU LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES

Depending on your state, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and your child and how we use it, to receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Using these rights never changes your price or the service you receive.

To exercise them, email contact.tinystar@gmail.com from the address you used, or give us your order number, with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We answer within 45 days, and within 7 days for any request about your child's photo or information. We may ask you to confirm details of your order so that we never give your data or your child's data to someone else. You may use an authorized agent.

9. IF YOU LIVE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION, THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ELSEWHERE

Our legal bases are the performance of your contract for creating and delivering your movie, your consent for marketing and for analytics and advertising cookies, and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. Because your child's photo is information about a child, we limit it to what is needed to make your movie and delete it as described above. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to complain to your data protection authority. Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. SECURITY

Photos are sent over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored with restricted access. Our store runs on Shopify, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, and card details never reach our systems. No system is completely secure, but if a breach ever affected your information or your child's, we would tell you without undue delay.

11. CHANGES

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we tell you on the site, and by email if you have an order with us.
